Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers
The Judicial Wellbeing 360
Earlier this year, in observance of the inaugural International Day for Judicial Wellbeing, the Caribbean Association of Judicial Officers (CAJO) and the Caribbean Association of Women Judges (CAWJ) launched a collaborative Judicial Wellbeing 360 Playlist.
The CAJO has now added three more videos to the playlist, offering practical guidance and diverse perspectives on managing the unique stresses of judicial life.
In addition to videos on Secondary Trauma, Wellbeing of Judiciary Staff, Women on the Bench, and the Power of Breath, the following are now included:
- Just Move (the importance of movement)
- Be Still (the value of stillness)
- Be Mindful (the benefits of being mindful)
The series is a continuation of CAJO’s pioneering “360 Degree approach to Justice,” a framework detailed in the November 2024 CAJO Bermuda Statement on Judicial and Judiciary Wellbeing. This approach recognises that the wellbeing of judicial officers, staff, and court users is fundamental to the delivery of fair and efficient justice.
We encourage all members of the legal community to engage with this material and join us in championing a culture of wellbeing within the judiciary.
The Hon. Justice Gillian Lucky, JA
